PROJECT DETAILS

Serving eastern Alameda County, the new 185,000 s.f. facility will provide 13 courts and support services for the judicial and social service functions, in addition to safe and separate access and circulation for judges, the public, and defendants in custody.

Our goal is to blend the structure with its natural and municipal environment and help the public become comfortable with proximity to a judicial facility. To address these concerns, access to the site will minimize impact on nearby residential districts, and a citizen's advisory group has been invited to participate in the decision making process.

The project is nearing the construction phase.
